Buds & Blossoms

Writer's picture: AdminAdmin

We had a busy and exciting week preparing for the birthday of the trees, Tu B’Shevat! Even in the middle of winter, just before spring, we notice the buds beginning to form on the flowers.

We had so much fun using our fine motor skills with buttons to create our own little trees.

We planted seeds in our sensory bin pots and enjoyed number matching on our tree branches.

Using broccoli, we made beautiful tree prints, and we gathered natural materials to create branches and leaves for our trees.

Our sensory bins were filled with fruit, and we had a blast cutting and peeling apples to make delicious baked apple chips, sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar.

This week, we focused on the letter N and the Hebrew letter Mem. We explored numbers, nests, and newspapers, painting numbers, and using beads for counting activities.

For the letter Mem, we enjoyed marble painting and magnet painting.

We always love our specials! Music with Morah Benny, yoga with Ms. Ace, and Animaly, where we learned all about a new animal, were definite highlights of the week.

We spent the week preparing and looking forward to Dad's Doughnuts and worked on a special gift.

A huge thank you to all the dads, moms, and special guests who joined us for Dad’s Doughnuts on Friday! We had a wonderful time creating a beautiful book, and we hope you enjoy the bookmark we made for you. Sharing our Shabbos Party with you was so special, and we cherish these moments of coming together to experience a part of your children's day.

Wishing you all a Shabbat Shalom!
