We were so excited to welcome our friends back on Tuesday after having the day off on Monday for Presidents' day!
We learned all about the role of Presidents. We know that they help create the rules for all 50 states in the United States. To celebrate this, we made American flags and discussed their significance.
Our Hebrew letter of the week was the letter Tzadik. Tzadik is for Tzedaka!
R is for rubbing. We used coins and crayons to discover the pictures of the presidents' faces on money.
We sorted the coins by their shapes, colors, and the Presidents faces.
We also washed the coins!
We started our end-of-year Alef Bet project. We reviewed the letters we've learned and started working on our beautiful keepsake representing the Hebrew letters. We will continue working on them for the rest of the year.
We continued our creative exploration by making circle art inspired by the artist Wassily Kandinsky. Using stickers and paint, we developed our fine motor skills to create unique designs.
We had a blast in play ball with Coach Anthony.
We wrapped up our week with a Shabbat Party and challah baking, a fun and meaningful way to bring everyone together.
Have a wonderful Shabbat!
