We had a wonderful week learning all about Avraham and Sara’s son, Yitzchak, and his new wife Rivkah.
We know Eliezer went to a well and saw Rivkah doing mitzvot and being so kind that he knew she was the perfect bride. She gave all of the camels water and we also pretended to give our toy camels water.
We practiced transferring water from place to place and played with water in a Well.
We learned how in the old days, they would retrieve water by carrying it back and forth to their homes.
We also know Yitzchak gave Rivkah jewelry so we beaded and made our own! Rivkah had the same mitzvot as Sarah.
Her candles were also lit from week to week. Her Challah was fresh and delicious and plenty for as many guests that came! We played with our Shabbat candles and practiced braiding colorful challah!
Our letter for this week is the letter L for which we practiced lacing.
Our Hebrew letters were Drop the ball Chaf and Final Chaf. We enjoyed tossing ping pong balls and saying the corresponding sounds.
We enjoyed Music with Benny, Yoga with Ms Ace, and Tae Kwan Do with Coach Anthony this week.
We always love making Challah and having a big Shabbat Party together to end a wonderful week. Shabbat Shalom!
